Deborah Kidd – Of Counsel

Deborah Kidd brings more than two decades of legal, business, and entertainment experience to her clients, with expertise in intellectual property, entertainment, corporate, employment, and labor law. An entertainment attorney and business consultant, she advises artists, entrepreneurs, and companies on contracts, copyright, royalties, compliance, and negotiation strategy.

Ms. Kidd is also the Founder and CEO of Airhug Radio, a global internet station dedicated to independent artists, and an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, where she teaches music business and copyright law. Her career also includes executive leadership at PopDaze Entertainment, extensive work in media production and artist management, and years of experience handling labor and employment matters in both the private sector and the U.S. military. During Operation Enduring Freedom, Ms. Kidd served in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps counseling air bases under Air Mobility Command and Space Command on labor and employment matters, then as Department of the Army Labor Counsel at Fort Carson.

Ms. Kidd holds an LL.M. in Entertainment and Media Law from Southwestern Law School, a Master of Arts in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, a Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Based in Massachusetts, she is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia and brings a unique blend of legal, creative, and executive expertise to every matter.
